Simply Red concert cancelled

TODAY'S scheduled concert with Simply Red at Rochford Wines, in Victoria's Yarra Valley, has been cancelled because of bushfires in the area.
Local police, Country Fire Authority and Victorian government officials met early today and have advised that the weather was too unpredictable and the safety of patrons could not be guaranteed.
A Day on the Green promoters are working to reschedule the concert.
Fundraisers for those affected by the bushfires will be held at all future concerts, an event spokeswoman said.
